Six Sentence Sunday

Lordy, Lordy, goodness me, another Six Sentence Sunday it be. Hi everyone, I hope you’ve all had an amazing week. Mine has been trying, which is why I didn’t get to make the Six Sentence Sunday rounds last week. Please forgive me, to who left comments, I’ll be getting to you all this Sunday.

This Sunday marks the ending of our journey featuring the ever difficult Renée and the playboy/brother’s best friend Chris in my Contemporary Romance Dearly Beloved. Yet again, Chris has managed to corner Renée in the kitchen.
Without warning, he struck, moved too fast for her to protest. A hand under each arm, he lifted her and set her on the small edge of the counter in front of the sink. Recovering for her shock quickly, she gasped and kicked at him. He easily dodged her kicks, waited for her to settle and resumed his position of far too close.

Pushing her legs apart he positioned his big body between them. Leaning in close, he braced a hand on each side of her body.
That’s it. Not as eventful, but if you’ve been following weekly totally a pivotal moment. Interested in Dearly Beloved be looking for the release date on my website. For now please go to www.sixsunday.com to read other amazing authors six sentences. As always please leave comments and thank you in advance for your comments.
