Six Sentence Sunday

Wow! Sunday seems to come faster and faster each week, doesn't it? Once again I'm excited to announce another Six Sentence Sunday. That's the good news. The bad news, depending on how you want to take it, is that this is the last excerpt I'll be putting up from my recently completed manuscript Astrid Walker. So, without further ado, here's my six for this week picking up from right where we left off last Sunday:
Confused, Astrid turned around in circles, scanning, attempting to orient herself to the abrupt change of scenery. She glanced down, and damn near pissed her pants at what she saw.
Wait, could an astral being piss their pants? She didn’t know, but squeezing her eyes closed tight then opening them again, she thought, if there ever were a time for the theory to be tested, it’d be now. Because, yep, she definitely wasn’t in her room anymore. Astrid wiggled her toes in the grainy, warm, broken granules, shifting just her eyes, she gazed down—sand.

Alrighty folks, that's it for Six Sentence Sunday. If you want to check out other awesome authors visit www.sixsunday.com click a name and get to readin' six sentences from either a WIP, completed manuscript, or a published works from a number of many wonderful authors.
